Six months ago I had 1 TX200, a .22 mk2, I was very happy with it and had no plans to add more, why would I? Anyway I took a trip to Melbourne fair and found a mk1 also in .22. Did I need this gun? No, but it’s a mk1 so buy it I did. Not long after a laminate Ultimate Springer stock popped up on the forum at a bargain price so I bought that too. The stock arrived and was beautiful, frankly too beautiful for either of my actions. Their 30+ years of patina just looked wrong in that stock 😔 so it went in the cupboard while I contemplated what to do. Fast forward to last week and I’m browsing Range and Countrys sale where there was a black stocked Ultimate Springer HC in .22 🤔💡 😀. In the basket it went, (and purely to make best use of the delivery charge I threw a S510 in the basket too 🙄😂) and Yesterday it was delivered. Top service from Range and Country 👍. So now I have an action that can do the laminate stock justice and my cosmetically challenged mk1 action sits beautifully in the understated black dyed stock. Do I need 3 TXs? Not really. Will I end up with more than 3? Probably 😂😂 Anyway enough waffle here’s a photo.

No three is not enough they look so lonely sat there, you need a .20 and a .25 minimum just sayin.

Gotta love a MK1, mine is in .177, but I do like the big girls blouse .22 variety😉
Think about Mark ones for a moment , the BSA Airsporter the mark one was the best, The Mark One TX200 the best one the Ford Cortina the mark one was the best the real 1958 mini the mark one was the best the ford escort the mark one was the best even the datsun cheery the mark one was the best. Beretta extrema the mark one was the best. The Hatsan Escort mark one was the worst. so its not all of them. LOL!

Mark1's are my favorite. I think you have to buy them, when you get the chance. I've got 4 standard Mark1 guns and my SR is a Mark1. All are .177. This old lefty is a world champion, or let's say, it was low springer at the World's, in the mid 1990's.

I love my laminate stock TX (im actually looking for a second one, laminate or stained beach. I’m not that keen on the walnut version tbh)

Great looking trio that you have though

The walnut is let down by the cheek riser unfortunately, the black just doesn’t look right with the wood and it will surely go sticky at some point.
