Hoping someone who has one of these compressors may be able to help. Bought one off the bay and when I went to use it found it would not build up pressure.

On investigating I found that the brass blow out disc hadn’t been fitted but some spares were included so not a problem.

Then checked all connections and tightened up anything that seemed a little loose. Still no joy.

Then checked the bleed valve and it looked ok, but checking vids online found that most compressor bleed valves have a ball bearing inside. Mine doesn’t and looks like it should by the shape of the end of the shaft.

I have a selection of ball bearings on order.

Can anyone tell me what size I should use instead of eyeballing it and cocking it up any further?
