Hi guys, just picked upmy new w97 undercover air rifle, looking for recommendations for having it tuned, preferably within driving distance of Newcastle-upon-Tyne

Shooting it for a while will give you a chance to see which direction you want to take with any improvements, without achieving that there is little point imo.
Always try to make improvements that suit your disciplines and style.

Thanks guys. @jimtoon watch the videos linked above and ring if you have any questions. I am against running a gun with the factory grease as it is cack! Strip, degrease and relube it and you might not even feel the need to tune*👍

* You will though. It’s like an illness!😂
Once that Bumslide penetrates the skin... you'll be a Full Tune Junky 😂
Just don't over lube the 97 as acts like Viagra...🐼👇🏻
See...😳

I’ve just fitted one of the tbt maxi pro kits to my hw97 and I can’t recommend it enough.

I was always struggling with this rifle. Thing jumped in the air when I fired it. Hitting my target at 50 yards standing unsupported with it now.

Jim, been mentioned to death, but get your " bearings" for a good few sessions & tins of pellets, first. Get a benchmark to go by...what is it you don' t jell with ( if anything) ? A high% of folks ( my guess) use a " tune" ( kit, which is not a " tune") to alleviate/ stifle " twang", which has no bearing on accuracy. Watch a good few varied videos, get to know, in layman's terms, what goes on inside your gun. Oft times, a simple cleaning & proper lubrication application works wonders. Shoot often & shoot happy.
