Trolley Jack

I have similar low profile jack, and keep the plunger under the springs well lubricated. Yours could be a tad dry?
I'll check mine and if that is the case and it works in a controlled way l'll remove my comment. Thanks for the tip.

I have a 2Tonne Clarke Strong Arm. Purchased SH.for a one off rear calipers replacement.
Wise words from @Gummage . Front axle is substantial but as height increases, load on jack moves to rear where the independent wheels are far less solid.

Can I hijack the thread…
I’m after a 4way spider wrench with one being 1/2” socket like used in tyre shops. I’ve looked online but only see the versions with 4 individual sockets… really want/need the 1/2” option

Anybody?

Sorry for derailing..
Let’s get back on track..

I bought a machinemart version probably 25yrs ago, proper hobby jobby in plastic case !!! Still works perfectly (no leaks) despite mates constantly borrowing it 🤣👍🏻
What about something like this? Not the greatest quality I'm sure but it might do a job..
