Torque screwdrivers

They were on sale in Lidl last time I was in.

I have a torque screwdriver that I bought a couple of years ago.
I found the correct torque settings much tighter than I usually tighten mounts up to.
I don't use it now.
 
I have a shahe torque screw driver that does 0.5 to 3nm. Works well but I'm usually too lazy to use it🤦

Also have a rechargeable electic torque screwdriver. I use that because I'm lazy 🤣 In all seriousness get your self one - great for us inveterate scope swappers... Just make sure it a low torque one.

I have a torque wrench for my bikes and I do use it for some things as they can be safety critical. Never needed one for scopes in 40 years of airgunning. Never crimped a tube and I've mounted a lot of scopes.

Gentle finger tight using the short end of the key, then nip up about 1/8 of a turn using the long end depending on how it feels. Bearing in mind some bolts can be freer than others. But if you're hamfisted then it's better than damaging your scope or stripping threads.
