Tonight’s trip to the range - success.

Few hours spare this evening so off we went to the range for a couple of hours.

This time bought the wife with me as we had a child free evening,

Set up and showed her how to go on, and she nailed it, managed to hit all the bells at 20 yards.

Definitely made my mind up now on next purchase had a few shots with a friends Zulus Day / Night snd it’s perfect for what I need, visiting first permission tomorrow just for a walk around and hopefully see plenty of signs of rabbits.
 
Excellent, and she needs her own guns, too! There's no time to be lost! It's the law!

My good lady, accompanying me on a trip to the range a while back. The enthusiasm lasted all of two trips, following which she declared, 'It's too easy, I'm bored'! To be fair, she practically hit everything she pointed at 😌

Good stuff, my Mrs shows zero interest in my guns! You won’t go wrong with a Zulus either, brilliant bits of kit 👍

Wow thats some eye relief on that scope
My wife has no interest in shooting as she told me at 2am this morning when she heard the crack of every shot on the Raw i was testing at the time :ROFLMAO: Shrug tt
"why you F*&%&ng shooting in the house"
Because my love its dark outside......

Tried to get her to come with me but she is miserable

That was an Optisan EVX, from memory. Quite a forgiving eye relief, although I'm not convinced that she had the full sight picture, perhaps a dot. Worked well enough for her, though 😂

Thats the reaction I got off my missus, but she was shooting a .223 at 100 yds at the time,
Did 2 runs of 10 rounds each,hit all she aimed at then just piped up "I'M Bored now."

Possibly, but not where my partner is concerned. That was her interpretation of my 'expert' advice to try and achieve s complete sight picture :ROFLMAO:
