More than a century since the Titanic sank on its maiden voyage, this first-person testimony of survivor Frank Prentice remains a powerful and harrowing account of the sheer terror felt by those on board. In the BBC documentary The Great Liners from 1979, he vividly depicted the harrowing events of that historic night, one that continued to haunt him in his dreams for decades afterward.

One of the crew saved a female passeger then later when he is picked up by same lifeboat, she gives him a coat/blanket and saves his life.

Tough old boy- later went on to become a decorated WW1 Major .
