Three Legged fox mystery.

My grandad was a gamekeeper for 50+ years and has seen them with a leg missing, a couple with the brush missing & tame foxes. Always turned out to be either the RSPCA or the local hunt releasing them.
 
Not uncommon in some areas to see a repaired fox on some permissions . Cant think where it was now but one guy on a Facebbok group asked the local animal welfare place to stop letting them go in his area after fixing them up as he was shooting a few every month or so.
