I've been into my profile, turned them off AND I saved the changes and the f'kin things are still coming through :mad: 🤯
I've cleared the cookies, logged back in and that did nothing either

Obviously I don't want to mark the forum mail as spam in case I miss anything that's actually important

Never mind, it's a relatively small issue on a new board while the mods are hard at work in the mod cupboard drinking tea and playing top trumps etc 🤣🤣🤣
I just wanted to have my own wee self pity party and vent my spleen about how hard done to I feel :oops: :censored: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks Vinny, it was the manage watched threads option that solved it for me 👍👍👍👍👍👍

As far as I can tell, after you update your preferences, the new settings apply to your new interactions. I'm still getting emails from the threads I posted on before changing my preferences. It seems earlier interactions still produce emails according to the preferences prevailng at that earlier time... a bug(err) I think. ;)

BB have a look at Vinny's linked post above (post #8), particularly the bit about watched threads as that's what solved it for me 👍

Scroll through and look for the 🔔 right hand side on any threads you replied to, open and click un watch

I saw the flag on the offending post and set to un-watch which I think has done it!
I'm thinking the preferences only apply to future posts and don't reset flags on earlier content. :unsure:

Pretty sure it did it when I joined the old forum as well, but I'd forgotten about it,
Hopefully sorted now.
