Morning All, I would like a valuation of my Theoben rapid Mk2 .177 please. I have had this around 6 years and am the third owner, but due to changes
in life I am not using it.
The rifle has a RAW quick fill fitted by Bucket Boy and has his valve and internals + Tune, it also has he's modified silencer so is whisper quiet. The stock is an an original Boyd's laminate from the factory.

Any help appreciated thanks Steve

Don't sell it m8 once it's gone it's gone it's a nice looking rifle. If you have to sell and your not in a hurry don't give it away my local RFD has sold 3 rapid all for 1200 quid without even trying.. He keeps tell me to sell mine no chance there going to have to pry them out if my cold dead hand. If fact I'm going to be buried with um 😂

I know it sounds a little crazy but with Perkins of Staverton's recent pricing I would estimate a top end retail asking price of around £1800.
If you think thats thats crazy..they were asking £1500 for an S-type and £1000-1100 for mk1s
As already said, it's sellers market. set your price high and wait for the right buyer.

My fault I did not realise SAK was not asking about my Theoben. Oct 2009 was for my Rifle
I was asking about the rifle in the photograph as it looks in really good condition and with it being a right hand stock i though it wouldn't be a new gun as most stocks have been ambidextrous for a few years now, i don't know if every manufacturer is the same or you order the stock you want.

which photo :-) if you are talking GSX200, then I get it, a lot of the impact rifle were ambi. However, the original rapids weren't really ambi's after the mk1's.

Interesting that the prices are saying are so strong - I thought we were in a rapid dip....obviously not :-) I think its the stock which makes this interesting and probably around the £1200 mark.

It’s a rare Rapid MK2 Deluxe only around 25 were made.

It differs from the standard MK2 as it has a Boyd laminate stock. In addition it has a threaded barrel, MFR regulator and Long Series silencer.

As it normally the case the value is in the originality and yours has been modified including the stock, which although makes it more usable it also devalues it.

I’d say an in untouched original condition one would be worth £1500-1800, maybe more if someone wants it that badly. Yours with the modifications would be worth £1000-1200 I’d say, but again it’s worth what people are willing to pay for it.

Thanks for your input Blackmax, but it is not a Deluxe I thought it was at first, it has the Boyd stock from new but not the MFR Reg or a Threaded barrel. It was a special order with the laminate stock.

I understand that the RAW quick fill and gauge has taken some of it's originality away but as you say it makes it far more usable, I found that not having a pressure Gauge and having to take the bottle off and having to burp the action to much of a phaff every time it needs filling.

Cheers
Steve
