I’m looking to get a couple of replacement magazines for a rapid7 mk1, just Weighing up options between the Dr Bobs or Smwengineering offerings anybody used either?

If you are feeling flush, pneumatic ballistic magazines are worth a look too,all metal construction.Otherwise as stated SMW are decent,Carm are very good had no problems with mine. With Carm mags it's the ordering that's a pain now,£135 minimum order(import duties).Unless you can get on the Carm orders on here or get some mates to order as well.

I’d definitely go for a Carm mag as I’ve got one for the mfr already and it’s faultless but I’m in a bit of a rush and can’t wait that long 😉, pneumaticballistics looks good being a 20 shot and metal

Used Dr Bob mags in .177 and .22. No issues with either calibre
Used an SMW one and a SSL on a .177 and didn't rate them.
Don't remember trying a Carm, but I may be wrong

If struggling I would get some Benjamin marauder mags, JS ramsbottom was selling these a short while ago, 10 shot They do need a little packing with ( I use double sided sticky tape ), I've been using for a few years and they are about £22 , That's if your struggling to get any, These are new, Not printed copies.

I've only ever used Original mags and ones from Dr Bobs, no complaints on either.
SMW Engineering look OK but I'm not sure about longevity with 3D printed stuff.

Purchased two from Dr Bob in .177and .22 to replace lost original ones ,no issues in the time have used trying to get to use the rapid 7

I have the original and the SMW mag.

I'm thinking of trying a Dr Bob's mag next. Nothing wrong with the SMW mag, other than I can't see it lasting long.
