The British Shooting Show summary

Ok first let me apologise if you are expecting a review of the show itself you are out of luck

This is a review of how it went for the forum.

So obviously I go there with AirMaks and I am now an ambassador for them.
I’m sure a lot of you have noticed but I don’t flood the forum with it etc,
I will say AirMaks has done a lot for the forum as they have paid for me to go all over advertising it etc.

Being in with a Brand also has the advantage of giving you insider information and connections. Which is how I became so close with Hawke over the last year or so having got to know their management etc, at shows and being out with them at meals etc with AirMaks.

So let’s give the first good bits
Obviously being with AirMaks they have kindly lent me guns and other accessories to go to the forum event days with etc to make it easier for me.
I have no scopes for all the guns so kindly Hawke have said about lending me some scopes. (Nice ones )

Hawke then said by the way we are doing some event days ourselves at some clubs and named a couple and said I might as well be at them ones with them and fasten our gazebos together etc, Hawke are obviously my in there at already arranged events.

I also get to go talk with trade members like Nate of @NateChrony who is one of the nicest blokes you could ever meet.

I get to pester @Jimmypie at Crawley and make him do video draws with me (famous hands might have been in the background @jeffsky)

And I get to see JÖRG from @H&N and have a nice chat for a while

I get to pester @Tomstargets about custom targets for AGF on tour

And I get to speak to a new trade member who will be coming onboard very soon with more member discounts codes

I spend a lot of time running around speaking and liaising with people seeing what I can organise to make the forum better for all of you and to hopefully give me more opportunities going forward to meet up with lots of you

I went Friday and had a fun day out with friends. Appreciate that is totally different from being stood public facing for 3 long days plus setup and tear down so wanted to thank you for your dedication and effort Pete. I went on the Friday and did what I could to cover bits from the show on my YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@zubysan?si=1d4g4a6c-gHB3sMQ).

Gutted I couldn’t find the Airmaks stand, especially as I wanted to see that pumped up Katran Pro X, after having recently got and loving the Katran Sub Compact.

I think if more companies got real enthusiasts like yourself and many of us involved in their products, we would have some better guns to choose from that didn’t need a load of work to make a good gun!
After many emails with someone high up at Snowpeak over sending me a replacement part and general interest in their products, I’ve told her all about AGF which she is very interested in. BTW she sent x3 parts FOC which arrived today. It’s Chinese new year holidays now and she sent them via fedx express before closing down. I really do think manufacturers respond well to genuine enthusiasts.

Hmmmmm I tried that & get very little response....
Everyone jumps at freebies & the chance to give feedback, but then get real busy when its feedback time. I got about 25% from my last samples sent out...
Happy for better ideas to keep me less grumpy

My first time attending with my 2 lads, went on the Sunday got there first thing, just started the air rifle hobby since October, didn’t go with any intention of buying anything as I’ve got all I want and I’m very happy with my 3 rifles and scopes and bags, just went for a noisy and a bit of a day out, really enjoyed it and so did my lads, didn’t find it overpowering, we go the motorbike show and must admit I enjoyed it a lot more, we’ve decided we’re not going the bike show again but will definitely go next year to the shooting show, came back with loads of free goodies as well.
