Yes i know shes an old round compared to the new breed of .22's that seem to be coming out . But considering shes knocking on the door of 88 yrs old

she is still the one of most versatile of all the higher velocity .22 rounds by a mile , easily handling reduced loads ( i have knocked up some great sub- sonic rounds .... for no reason than i can ) and then at the other end of the scale over 4000fps

Shes still a really sexy looking round .....

Trying very hard not to bite at a Sako 90 in that chambering that is available, would be a marriage-ender.

But I love Sakos...and it is a very purdy booolet... 😁

I'm now a die hard fan of the .22-250! I absolutely love it, I get excited at the thought of taking it out and putting it to work more than my other centerfires (.223 + .243)

Here is mine in night mode, I have been shooting it out to 355yrds on rabbits with 50g vmax, it puts a smile on my face with every shot

I mean what's the worst that can happen ?

Hell for me would be an eternity of listening to some t#@t waxing lyrical about the .270 or 6.5×55 .
