Finally had a chance to properly test my new Weihrauch HW110, haven’t shot for problem 15 years or more but very happy with the new gun. This is my last target after putting 50 shots through, 10 shot group at 20m. I’m pretty pleased with that 😊😊.

Yes, I bought one ,lovely rifle to shoot ,very accurate, love mine
I agree it’s so smooth to shoot and so quiet, this little session was in the back garden but great to try it out. Get myself a few different targets now I think and get it all set up out there properly.

Already to try on some hard targets tricky ones. Get some pellet samples and see which is more accurate for you. Enjoy is the most important.

I’ve got a few different pellets to try out to see what works beta as you say. I was buzzing after that session today, reminded me of times years ago some great fun to be had.

Hi Mike. Nice shooting :) and welcome back to the hobby that keeps us ALL coming back .. after 15 years or 15 days!

A polite and friendly word of advice that might help you a little - though you are doing really well anyway!

Your group is only varying left and right....your up /down grouping is super tight!! you might want to look at why?

Is your head moving left and right a little bit and therefore maybe your Scope parallax adjustment is set wrong? If parallax is set to the wrong distance, then moving your head around will make the cross hairs move. OK it would also do it up and down to if you moved your head up and down.... but when your cheek is on the stock i bet it wiggles more left and right than up and down. Mine does as my cheek flexes

Or maybe the way you've rested your gun is rotating left and right a little when you pull the trigger. This is also something I suffer from especially when resting on a bag.

I hope these little idea help a bit and I hope they're not taken as negative, because they're only to help.

Best regards
BoR

Hi
I know my head position wasn’t correct a few times during the session for sure as I put my back out last week so was struggling to get a comfortable position with the setup I had. There’s quite a few things I know I need to address like you’ve said going forward but having had the gun two weeks and not fired it due to weather then bad back I was itching to give it a go 😂. Thanks for your pointers though as I’m keen to learn all I can to get better going forward, not taken negatively at all I appreciate the input.

In my opinion, the 110 is every bit as accurate as the 100. But much easier to shoulder/ carry around due to the lightweightness. I don't know whether the 110 will have the longevity?? though, plastic polymer stuff. Suppose time will tell. Anyway....I love mine to bits :giggle:

That’s the one thing I found when I went to view the 110, it felt comfortable the first time I shouldered it. It’s lightweight and seems very balanced to me, all in all very happy with it.
