Hi peeps what's a good target rifle that's not stupidly expensive? Unfortunately I'm a tinkerer so am looking for something I can customise and utilise on the range

I've had the s400 and 410. Fx dreamline long barrel. All great guns, I've been shooting since I was a kid but not found anything yet with enough adjustability to keep me occupied lol. I'm currently using a hw100 bullpup carbine for hunting but not ideal for targets.

When you say "target" do you mean a bit of paper punching or a specific discipline? And do you have a budget in mind... pcp or springer?

Bit pricey my max would be around 800 new. Never had a new rifle before as always had second hand that need work

Ive messed around and got bored with pcps I guess, I have a kral bitsa that did have a hft500 barrel and it was my first 250 score rifle, it now has a cometa barrel fitted as its in constant forms of change, a proper project rifle 
You would like it, its made up from 5 different krals, its regged and is single shot, it stands me in less than £500 and its perfect for me, I sold the hft500 due to noise issues at my local range, that was a good gun tbf

I love a good project built guns. My biggest issue is getting parts unless I can get a job in a gun shop or with a gun smith. Got any pics?

Kral bits are cheap and easy to get, I use BigDans Airguns

0.177” will be cheaper than 0.22” for you then.

Yeah just started using 177 for the first time yesterday. Bit alien hitting stuff without having to fire like a mortar at longer distance

Chiappa FAS611, it was a toss up between one of those new or a used hft500, I went the later route but may still get a Chiappa some day
