This is a blast from the past... With a difference.
This is the Beeman FH500. American made.
A break barrel springer in .177
Also more commonly branded as the Marksman 1790 Biathlon Trainer.
Google has info on it, but it's a bit vague and contradictory.
Don't let the branding fool you, this is as accurate as any of the high end SSP target rifles I've owned, and I've owned pretty much all of them.
It's super lightweight but size wise it's not as small as you would think seeing as it's marketed as a junior rifle.
This version is factory fresh in almost pristine condition with only some minor handling marks.
The stock is the more aestheticly pleasing black compared to the grey versions that are out there.
The diopter is all complete including the rubber eye cup.
Also the SR industries pellet probe and an SMK branded instruction manual both of which usually get lost over the years.
Factory brown crate box with minor signs of handling/stacking. But still in nice condition and once again something that usually gets binned or damaged over the years.
The metal is coated in a flawless plastic crackle finish as opposed to the shiny black painted finish of the other variants.
The trigger takes some getting used to, but once you've nailed it's sweet spot it's all good.
This is the perfect way to get into Bell Target shooting or 10 metre shooting.
Not sure how this one found its way over here in such perfect condition, but I'd be interested to know of anyone else's that is branded Beeman.
