Out yesterday at my permission for a spot of pest control... Had a great afternoon zeroing my PR900w to which I finally got round to fitting a sightmark Wraith that I got from here a while ago... Very happy with it so far just need to work out my hold overs now and it's good to go .
Was hoping to get set up for a bunny ambush before dark but chatting to the land owner put me behind so it was already dark before I could get in position
So grabbing my P15 with a Pard NV007 attached I set off walking down the field with last night's supermoon behind me I kept close to hedge line to avoid skylining myself but the moon was so bright that it was useless
So arriving at my chosen spot fully illuminated I sat down set up the tripod and clamped the rifle in switched on the pard to get it focused and there was a rabbit perfectly in the crosshair
Not sure what the chances of that happening are but maybe I should have done the lottery last night..

Shortly after the wind changed direction so I quit while I was ahead

My one was a rabbit I thought I had missed but it stayed long enough for me to reload then shoot again . I squeezed the trigger and it dropped its head then turned to face me and I then shot it again and it dropped.

I then noticed the blood on the ear when I went to pick it up.

First shot went through both it's ears.
