Right then let's see how long this takes.

Got the squirrel feeder out and one of those app wildlife cameras I can check remotely to keep and eye on it.

Just got to wait and see now.

I'll check the camera every couple of days and update this thread if and when anything interesting shows up

Nice one mate 👍 I'm sure any self respecting sqizza will be round that in no time 👍 if they not they have no nuts 😜 the birds will eat them 👍
 
I expect the squirrels will polish that lot off in no time.
I had a bird feeder that used to be empty every morning.
It turned out a squirrel was up and about earlier than me and managed to get along the thin wire it was suspended on and hang off it and empty the feeder.
Crafty little bugger.
 
another thing to note its hard to tell in the photo but it looks like youve put some grain in the mix to.wheat/barley when it gets wet and its warm it will germinate and grow all over the outlet hole stopping the flow of feed coming out
 
We has a grey squirrel nesting in our tree bottom of garden produced 2 off spring
Fun to watch them running around and climbing the tree, one had a large hazelnut god knows where if found that. By god they move fast.

Yeah half bird mix half peanuts

Not ideal I know but I'm thinking if I get the birds interested then the squirrels will follow

Be careful mate peanut butter can be toxic to dogs ---here is some info from the net--
