Sportsman Association

I joined the UKPSA as they are actively promoting an action air category, planning to introduce at my local range in the spring.

But looking at their website, you need some kind of credentials to join but I’d like to get involved with that

Yeah that’s why I went the Sportsman Association route….I’m way too old to skirmish….but some IPSC action….that’s something else 😉

Have. a look at the Northeast UZI. It's so close to the real thing it's actually unbelievable.
The lastest steel bolt CO2 version also shoots like a dream and has dealt with the previous foibles.
NE Sten Mk 5 for sale on used airsoft £400. Don’t see Mk 5’s come up very often.

??????

All of these dealers accept Sportsman's Association as a defence.
What is it you're looking for that you can't find from the shops below?
May well be more now, it's an old list, but if you stick to these you'll be fine.

@CaptDAR - Snap! Your list is very useful for newcomers 👍

Gutted!!! Found a promising reasonably local shop, lots of stock that I could go and browse and handle some pistols….and they don’t accept SA 🙄

Bespoke Airsoft in High Wycombe looked to be perfect for me….sadly not!

Go and look at them then order from Defcon or one of the other shops that do accept SA.

If the people (Fire Support) who own and administer the actual UKARA database accept SA then it can only be be skirmishing snobbery that prevents others from doing the same 😂

You’re probably right in this case. I was told that if I could produce at least three photos of me at a recognised skirmish site along with my SA photo they could sell to me. 🙄

I buy on a Military Re-enactment defence and have done since the act came in.

Bespoke Airsoft are the only supplier I've dealt with where it was complicated - my membership and insurance cover wasn’t enough - they wanted a photograph of my military vehicle, which I supplied as it was a good price on the pistol I wanted.

I got it in the end, I guess they are just being stricter than is actually required?

I am a little too old now to skirmish, well, in fact, I would like to, but I'd be embarrassed to with the 'young uns' - but the other problem was there were no skirmish sites near me. I was just collecting air pistols and air rifles and always dreamed of buying a RIF - then I joined the SA and that is when it all changed. Now my collection is much more diverse, richer and varied than it was thanks to SA being a valid form of defence. My go to shops are Fire Support, Land Warrior and Action Hobbies. In fact, most of my stuff has been from Paul at Action Hobbies. He is so knowledgeable and so helpful and if you have anything you desire, he has quite a bit of second-hand stuff coming through so will look out for it for you.

Thanks @rwassell, I didn't know about Action Hobbies. I do now and fear my credit card is about to be stressed!!
Cheers. :ROFLMAO:
