I've been sat on this for a few weeks now and frankly I've been too worked up to even talk about it. Once I found it I nearly knocked the comp shooting on the head ,it really threw me and still has a fair bit with the
Why,when ,where?
There's quite a lot more than I can put into a post but in the next few days I'll try and get some on film.
Ive been talking to a few people in the trade about it and it seems that it's not actually that uncommon sadly.
I'm just at a total loss tbh even though the guns now back sorted with a fresh barrel .

That is exactly what it looks like down the muzzle end of the xti50.
The crazy part about all this is it's highly likely not happened since I've owned it.
It's not actually as wildly inaccurate as you'd imagine. If it was an hft rig I'd have been hard pushed to tell apart from the occasional slightly odd report every so often when it went 'off ' the boil.
I've been chasing some very strange small poi shifts combined with some very weird chrono results when it was throwing a tantrum.
And yes this the the alutec chassis xti50 that I built the woodwork for ,for AA and the centrepiece of their stand at the British shooting show and the northern shooting show as well as the numerous comps it was taken to and used. And the gun I shot the nsra winter league with
Infact I know a good few of you shot this at the hft worlds..
Gutted, upset and at times just plain angry..
Problem is now that I just can't really let it rest.
