So it seems that having a gun in stock for 3+ years and then selling it can cause an issue, Who would have thought that? FX King GRS Porn

So i saw a gun on Guntrader in a shop at what i think was a decent price Shrug tt
I asked if it was new and was told it was.....
When i looked at the pictures i asked for it said 30 moa and a serial number starting with 22 which when i looked said from 2023 onwards especially with the 30 moa rail.
The gun was empty with both gauges saying 0
So filled it to 100 bar and let the bottle cool as it was warm then to 200 bar and then 250 bar over the course of 30 mins
When i looked at the Gauges i saw this...... Top gauge is REG pressure

So i thought stuck Reg from being stored after tapping the gauge and the needle moving
I with my Yorkshire intellect decided to dry fire it and after about 20 shots the needle started to drop and after another 5 was as below and it has stayed there

Here is the chrono result straight after

So do i ask the shop to swap it although i knew in the pictures it was "new old stock" or do i ask for the reg to be serviced?
It does now seem to be running fine
Cheers folks

If it wasnt for that random 705 that a pretty good number I feel. Unweighed and unsorted pellets I presume? Not bad at all.

Those figures are pretty good to be honest.
Lovely guns the King, probably the only FX I would consider buying now.
I’ve never seen a nonFAC one come up for sale second hand, so that must mean something.
If you got it for a good price ( which I presume you did) I would be keeping it.
👍🏼

Been on to SGC and they say the 22 serial my gun has comes back to a 2024 gun that went through them and the 3 year warranty starts from yesterday.
I told him the gun was empty when i got it and he said the shop should really have air in the guns
Any issues i should give them a call and they will sort it
So i am not worried and will get some higher mounts for my scope and see how it shoots.

Try some pellets threw it, first sign of any more problems get on to the shop.
One of my favourite stocks on any rifle hope it behaves itself from now on for you.
