Who and whats the actual size if you know please?The proper job is a x-ring and works really well and doesn't need tightening much at all. Well worth using one of those if anybody is having issues.
Obviously you can buy them much cheaper from some of the usual o-ring suppliers.

At least you haven't stripped the threads, most screws should be just nipped up finger tight.So folks, some dick had nipped them up (erm me!) too tight.
