You’ll need to use the tool provided to remove the pressure gauge, the fill port cover will then come off along with the spring. Someone made me a rotating fill port cover which makes life a whole lot easier.

Yeah….. it’s addictive. I’ve done several CP2’s and Crosman with AR kits conversions…..good fun…. But can be a little costlyI went down the AR grip/buffer/buttstock rabbit hole when I was kitting out my GK1, it’s massive and airsoft shops generally have hundreds of parts in stock to choose from

Ohhhhhh. And I’ve bought a picatinny to buffer tube adapter…… and a tube…… just deciding on a butt stock
I've got a FDE Magpul CTR and tube ready to go on mine and had planned to get the pic-buffer adapter expecting the stock to be pants but it's not. And I'd lose the folding stock unless I added that as well which is another £20+ for no real gain.
I could maybe do with 5mm of rise in the cheek but that's it. Easy enough to make a spacer to go under the cheek and buy two longer M4 bolts

I have been led to believe that the AP1000 was preceeded by the AP900 which seems to generally have worked quite well.
Have seen all sorts of mixed opinions and reviews across the spectrum.
Personally I haven't yet had any issues but I suppose it's still early days.

Here’s where I’m at now.
New hammer spring at 46mm
3mm TP
Regulator turned down by 1/3 of a turn
FPE at 11.3 with jsb heavy with a standard deviation of 2 fps
Shot count I didn’t get chance to check yet but the gun does appear to be using less air than previously, I’ll check that tonight.
