Can any one tell me ,is there an increase in accuracy with a slug liner?.Thinking of getting one.

Yes, slug liners improve accuracy significantly with slugs. Standard pellet liners don't stabilize slugs well. You'll notice tighter groups at longer ranges. Just make sure to match slug diameter to your specific liner. Worth the upgrade.

I would be interested to know how you get on with it please.
I am thinking of doing the same with my King .25 FAC which I purchased to hopefully replace my 1417 Anschutz .22 LR, but not able to match the grouping of the 1417 with the standard liner that is apparently in my King.

Liner arrived and fitted.very easy process.Will hopefully be slug and heavy pellets testing tomorrow.
