That's not unreasonable tbf.As a heads up I just spoke to Steyr UK about a service on my 5a. Inc. Return carriage its £190.. call it £200 all in. Unless you need a new reg or anything.
I didnt think so.That's not unreasonable tbf.
Every time I speak to them I find them great. Couldn't ask for more imo.I had my LP-10 done last year, a few pounds cheaper that’s all so well done Steyr Hull for keeping the prices stable.

First off the moddy adaptor was cracked so I made another. I might black it yet.

Then that very exposed power adjuster.

I don't like to see that one bit, so made a magnetic fitting cover with an M3 screw central to align to the 3mm hex key hole. It really works well.

There you see it. Invisible.
Exactly my concern!Wow I had no idea the Pro X was like that ... pretty risky if it ever got seized and tested. Your mod. looks like an excellent idea.
On the H5A the hammer spring adjuster is blocked by the stock, so definitely not "external":

Exactly my concern!
I hadn't thought about what it was until I investigated turning it down a bit as it was sailing a bit close to the wind (for me).
My view is that it's not clever design, the stock is already fairly ugly, what harm could it do to cover the HST adjuster too? Anyway, it's sorted now.
It's a delightful rifle but that flaw is not really acceptable on a top end gat. Is the Air 5/10 is the same I wonder??

A better solution Jim. Thanks. The Air5/10 HST is behind / inside the stock tube , full removal required
