Shout out for Yorkshire Sporting Guns - Diana P1000 Evo2

Trying to find a single shot leader for a Diana P1000 Evo2 I called TW Chambers who had them listed for the original Diana P1000 but didn't know if it's the same for the Evo2.
Who might know?
Tried Solware, Dai, Edgar Bros, SMK... nobody knew.
I'd noticed YSGuns used to sell the rifles and phoned them.
Mark has three P1000s himself, knows them inside out and, yes, it's the same part.
I also needed the barrel thread protector.
£10 for both posted. Chambers wanted £18+post just for the SSL.
Rifle arrived, also missing the fill port cover. Called Mark again... yes he's got them. Will pop one in the post, no charge!
Now that's refreshing service and value.
Talking of service... he services the P1000 too if it ever needs it.
As for the rifle, shot it today. Quiet, dead to shoot, deadly accurate. A great find and bargain buy.

Yorkshire sporting guns is my go to RFD Mark is great, always willing to help out. I did have a P1000 evo off him a few years back shot it for 2 years absolutely faultless. To be honest I only ever used it with the single shot loader, it was one of the most accurate rifles I've ever shot, stupidly let it go I would have another in an instant.

Just phoned Mark to ask about the cost of a service as I hear a little "ping" a short while after releasing the safety, but not immediately. Thought it might be the reg playing up.
Rather than taking my money, Mark explained this is the safety spring and nothing to worry about.
Reassuring to have a retailer who offers customers advice so readily.

Glad to hear this. I'm planning a trip to ysg soon to look at a few models.
Just got to wait until I'm off on a Saturday as it's a little way from me.
Never dealt with them before so this is reassuring
