Found a second hand pulsar for about £840, is that too much? I don't see much information about them or see them sold anymore. Is it better than the air wolf. I live on a terraced road so rather get a electronic air rifle

Would you reccomend i buy it? How many shots do you get from 1 fill?

The Pulsar/Renegade platform is really good, with a decent moderator they are nigh-on silent.

Primary considerations are if you want a sporter or a bullpup.

You wouldn't be disappointed with either option, but personally I'd have the Pulsar.

Did you find the laser useful? How far do you think you can take a shot with the laser? I'm tempted to buy it. I wanted the mk4 limited edition platinum but can't find those anywhere

Never owned a pulsar but own its big brother the redwolf and its the most accurate thing I own, on trawling through this forum in its many guises I can only report there is a lot of love for the pulsar and don't think you would be disappointed, and on a side note I have owned a wolverine r great rifle but sold it in favour of my redwolf

Pulsar and AirWolf are totally different to shoot, just depends on what you like. I have both and like shooting both. The Wolf is a super machine, Pulsar too, and I find both as accurate as eachother. Neither are "lightweight" but both a joy to shoot. If I had to choose one I think it would be the Pulsar but the Wolf is a wonderful gun (Both the CDT and MCT versions) . MCT's go for a slightly higher price than the earlier CDT model.

Yes. Pulsar side lever, both the MCT and CDT.

Well that's narrowed it down! Full length rifle or bullpup. The choice is yours. Some nice RW's out there in both laminate or walnut stocks. If you are very lucky you might even find a "Rosso" version which really is a belter of a rifle.

Also worth flagging up that the GCU2 Red Wolf electronics are based on the Pulsar platform and have gone through a couple of revisions since launch (and batteries). But RW was developed from Pulsar.

None of those revisions affect sub 12 use at all though, the only meaningful change has been going from action indexing to self indexing mags.

Hi I’ve owned a pulsar for 8 years it’s absolutely fantastic very very accurate and with the xlk mod is extremely quiet ,mine is .177 and easily gets over 200 shots per fill .
It’s definitely a keeper 😊
