Sharp Innova

Not wrong as it happens when over pummped and dont know were you get 20 pumps from i screwed the pump valve by around 2 3 m closer to the near the inlet port this makes it less pumps for full power and if not messed with 20 pumps ya must have good right hand 🖐 as it be impossible to pump with out bending arm

Less pumps same or more power how in the right minde wants to stand there pummping some thing 20 times for one shot
If the piece of 5mm monkey metal used for the pump rod is changed to a piece of 6mm silver steel and the valve fully closed that was the result. Irrespective of what you think that was how it was for 20+ pumps.

It's a shame nobody imports the Indonesian Sharps like this Tiger.

Hey Louis ... how's the collection coming along ? ATB, Mark
Hello Mark! I was in Diss/Mellis/Yaxley two weeks ago. Had a lovely time cycling and visiting pubs.
I hope you are doing well too.
The collection is growing slowly. I have recently acquired a Sharp GR-75 and a Japanese copy of a BSA Light Pattern. The copy isn't very good, unfortunately.
Cheers, Louis

One of my favourite airguns.
This one is in .177
I bought it a few years ago at Kempton.
Very accurate and light.
Cheers, Louis

I have just joined this forum what a beautiful air rifle you have I have joined because I also own a sharp Innova for many years which was given to me after my best friend passed away I love this rifle it's .22 my one.

I came across an Innova in the 80's that had been tuned to FAC standard. To get it up to full power it needed 20+ pumps as the blow-off valve had been closed. In those days chronos were a rarity so its exact energy was unknown, however, the pellet would pass through the head of a rabbit at 60 yds and be heard on its way through the brambles behind. It was an accurate tool but its downside was the exhausting number of pumps to get it up to power and the trigger which got harder with each pump. Apparently the heavier the pellet the better it shot, it had a tendency to blow the head off lightweight diablos that could be seen by firing it into a long full cattle trough.
They are only designed for 10 pumps max in countries with no limits like america, it must have been well abused before you got it. They do like heavy pellets though my .177 shot lem pellets well, i had the mold & made my own. Stupidly sold it with the gun.

Brilliant little guns. So light and accurate. I remember them being loud without a silencer on though. I used my first one as a rabbit depopulation machine. They should bring these rifles back. Seriously, I think there'd be a market for them.

I agree but seen a chinese pumper recently that looks decent with a better stock & ready for silencer no plastic on it either & got good review, think it might have been a snowpeak? i'd still have one if it wasn't for tennis elbow, I had forearms like popeye when i shot them all the time.....lol.

I'm gonna do a search for that right now. Cheers.
Oh, yes indeed, the Innova took some work. After 7 pumps my heart would be pounding. The recoilless shot was totally worth it though.

Would you like to part with a front open sight

Nice
Definitely a blast from the past for me
My dads friend got me into air rifles many years ago, he used to bring a different rifle every week for me to try and i remember this well, one I had totally forgot about 😊😉

It's a version Dom, but a poor one.
Nothing like the quality of the Innova.

real shame because it could have been a real winner
Rob i have one in each calibre boxed, now I have fettled them both. I E, replaced the head pins for genuine sharp & other internals i did this because I could, I had a big box of genuine sharp spares of all sorts, I even changed the front & rear sights. These two rebels are well sorted & in there genuine boxes..
Atb John.

Hi
With a few parts upgraded, I'd agree they'd make good rifles
Out of the box they're a bit dire
The head pins are made of cheese
The ones I replaced were worn out of the box
