Sfs imp mk2

Original equipment manufacturer :)
Thanks. Now I do also own a sfs 97 that I bought second hand from one of my local gun shops and that has been opened up previously as the anti tamper stickers had split. I don't have a photo and cant say that it is 100% sfs internals because of what ive already said. From what I remember the spring at the top hat end isn't flattened off and is in layed into the top hat if that makes sense. The base / spring guide end is sleeved and the base definitely isn't the same as hw guide and base washer thing. I cant pull the spring out of the sleve
I'm going to order another, stupidly sold my Imp Mk2, outrageously good HW99, the firing cycle was sublime and it was as accurate as the HW100 I had, outstanding shooter. Whatever he does is worth every penny.
Couldn't agree more buddy. Me and the Mrs have been looking into going to live in Australia and the gun laws are ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ and I doubt id be able to get my air rifles over there. Just the thought of selling the imp nearly gave me my first panic attack. Having to sell my rifles is why ive started archery. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ roll on new imp day for you mate! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

He certainly works on the triggers. I had to set mine a little less sensitive, but once I did, it is superb.
He says he uses his own supplied springs.
I haven't had mine apart, as I have never needed to, but it fires with a quick thud, minimal recoil and a super nice feel.
Now my only comparisons are a to a Prosport and various rifles with WW or TBT kits in. It's better than all of those, by a considerable margin.
Unfortunately, I don't have a rifle from another renowned tuner to try it against.
I'll try and pick one up sometime lol
The triggers are amazing and everyone is know who has shot mine or other people's all mention the triggers. Same here as regards to other tuners. I shot a nick simmons 99s in .177 that one of the clubs I shoot at is selling. It was very nice to shoot but had full length barrel with a barrel weight/cocking aid on it. Quite a bit more snappy thana imp as to be expected in 177 but still nice! They want 300 for it and i did have to talk myself out of it just because of how long and loud it is. My old pro sport is the only rifle I do regret selling but I would still choose my imp over that.

All the SFS tuned rifles I have shot have been very nice. To be honest what's done to them is less important than the result: they shoot really well in my experience and I've liked the shot cycle. Whether they represent value for money is a separate issue and one I can not comment on.

100% this is the truth of the matter. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

Tonys a Legend, very good at what he does. I have a mk1 SFS Imp ive used it once as its so mint with a cs500 stock. Always say ill sell it as i dont uae it but i cant lol
Looks stunning i m thinking of going in this weekend to order one cos that itch won't go away.
Bit of a nightmare having sfs on your doorstep.๐Ÿ˜
Paul.

Honest question here , mate...what would you say, sets Tony's kit apart ? I've ( albeit via pictures) seen nowt but some reworked OEM HW internals, a hideously big moderator & ...?
Running some good ( aftermarket) springs & guides from multiple manufacturers, in my rifles... Just askin'.
Nothing really apart from the fat silencer & k barrel from what you & other owners have done to them. It just an off the shelf "tuned" gun ( at a price!) for those who can't be bothered to do their own tuning or just like the looks & can afford it. My bog standard 2003 well used .22 hw 50 shot so well for over ten years I thought it at least had a kit inside it. Only a badly cropped hw mainspring & standard hw piston washer when I finally delved inside. Guess I was just one of the lucky ones as the recent nearly new .177 I got my son a couple of years ago was terrible in comparison till I detuned it within a week.
