Are your mounts fitted properly?
Completely flat and "square" on the dovetails?
Try swapping front to rear too.

Cheap mounts is an easy fix at a reasonable price so makes a good first check.

Im goin to take them off later as i just took scope an mounts off all in one an put in onto hw97 buddy

Two golden rules, you never ever leave your wing man and never shim a scope, get some adjustable mounts and do the job right. Scopes were not designed to be shimmed.

One man's "Golden Rule" is another man's advice in a perfect world, it seems.

I have shimmed quite a number of scopes with no damage to mounts or scope.

Horses for courses etc.

My more "serious" kit gets painstakingly set up but a cheap plinker with a used scope can be shimmed with no problems in my experience.

I have cut off pieces of camera negatives which work perfectly for fine tune shimming

Also optically central the scope and start from scratch to zero.
