Scope Mount

@Stu

In that case it's possible.

What is the length of the tube part as that is effectively the eye relief isn't it?

I made the tube 70mm long.
When I made mine I experimented with different lengths of silicone tube and tbh it didn't make a lot of difference

Ok, well. If that is printable what would you want to try it ?
Can PM if you prefer?

If both scopes are ok for your eyes there should be no need to adjust the camera position.
Adapters like this are easy to make from 40mm waste pipe and associated fittings.

I'll print it out and check the fit on mine, if it's alright I'll let you know and we can sort it out? I'll be pretty much cost of printing + postage

The hardest part was finding something that would house the camera when done with plumbing fittings! 😂

Exactly, I'd rather a proper housing.
I looked at plumbing bits and after trying and failing I decided to ask here

Cheers Stu.

Could be something that is done again or offer different diameters or produce in a bigger diameter and supply shims?? Makes it even more transferrable 👍

I tried 40mm pipe, as the ocular is 40mm it wouldn't go over Terry and I got fed up of looking and I have loads of plumbing bits, just typically none that fitted

Sometimes the id can be opened up with a sanding wheel/drum in a drill, I've done a few on the lathe using a sharp tool and a bit of care. Waste pipe can be moulded if warmed up with a heat gun and a mandrel or similar.
The E700 camera was a perfect fit in a 40mm end cap but most cameras are larger so some ingenuity is required. 3d printing should be able to produce a suitable adapter as long as the material and settings can give enough strength, some stuff I've seen was too fragile for this type of use.

So after a bit of a discussion, a few hours tinkering and 10 hours on the printer this will be on its way to @markh29lpool soon!
