Samurai sword questions

Hi guys,
Right my lad is 15, very sensible and mad on Japan, he loves all the ps5 samurai games , he loves all the anime series and cherry blossom trees lol , he’s asked for a replica samurai sword to display in his bedroom , I have no idea on any trusted websites or even if you can get them in this country, any advice would be appreciated.

I think Katanas have to be made by hand (Hammering the blade) rather than pressed out of sheet steel, I'm not even sure if they can be bought now!

They're actually banned in Japan now unless they are of historic nature, I have a Wakizashi that's a few hundred years old, The smith was Omi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro..

That is good example from an acknowledged mast of the Edo period, you lucky man.
Do you have papers for it too?
