Safari/African Holidays

Dear All

some while back there was a member on here who posted information about his accommodation/resort in Africa, and i thought I had bookmarked the thread.

My wife and I are planning future holidays and want to visit Africa for a safari. I wanted to touch base with the member with a view to possibly organizing a trip, but i i cannot find his details or the thread where he posted the info.

If anyone knows who this is likely to be and can point me in the right direction, I would be grateful.

I’ll be having my holidays here on the Lodge/farm, with hopefully a visit to Ledbury to see my daughters, no I mean Fitzgibbon, Scoie and Sagalout, no, I mean my rifles really! Sooooooo, if anyone is considering Africa, or more specifically Kenya, drop me a PM and I can advise.

Elizabeth and I do run a lodge here, and it is in the ‘medium price’ (by that I mean, we border a conservancy, not on one - the difference is $120 per day, per person to be on a game drive conservancy, before you even think about accm and food etc. The Maasai Mara could be $200–250 per person, per day, this...

Thanks for the very quick response, yes it was you and your place.

We have begun planning some thing a bit different form the usual sit on the beach holidays which we have taken over the past few years. 2025 we are off to Peru to 'do the Inca trail', which will be a novelty for us, something very different to anything else we have ever done in terms of holidays.

In conversation a few days ago Emma suggested we looked at some kind of Safari 2026 hence 'looking you up'.
