S400 series air cylinder removal.

Hi. I’ve just started stripping a 23 year old S400 for new seals all round and I’ve run into a problem. I’ve managed to remove the cylinder end plug, but am really struggling to get the cylinder off the valve housing. I suspect a little heat is the answer, but am reluctant to try before asking for advice/opinions on here. So I guess the question is do I need to apply heat and if so how much? Are there any genius hacks to get the cylinder free?

Heats the way to go, they are quite often loctited
I use a heat gun, heat until you can smell the loctite, should undo easily then 👍
