Hmmm, that barrel does look short, here's photos on mine (have now sold it)....



Yours does seem a bit short, maybe they do a carbine version now or a longer cylinder version? not sure TBH.
They do have a shrouded barrel, so maybe the shroud is shorter on new versions?
When you take the shroud off, the exposed barrel looks like this...

Had a look at some old photos on mine, and it did appear to have a threaded stud in the hole at the base of the action body, not sure if it was just to hold the stock to the action or to enable a stud to be installed for bipod, etc? But it was deffo threaded.
