I've just done the spring change mod, fairly straightforward really (except when the springs ping out and you have to find them!). The trigger is now just a little bit too light, not a hair trigger but before I start in with the screwdriver I thought I'd ask - which way does the adjusting screw work? Is it in, ie clockwise to make it less sensitive or the other way round?

Thanks

Alan

Further out gives you more first stage. The screw at the back can be used to add or subtract some weight. I didn’t adjust the rear screw. Just enough first stage that I felt the wall.

I’ve got .3 springs in. So it’s light. It was a hair trigger when I first did it with no first stage.

I used 0.3 springs as well and I almost can't feel the second stage so I'll give it a twirl.

Thank you.

In mine I backed the grub screw out pretty far so you can feel the first stage with just the slightest wall. I need to get a trigger weight scale as I’m genuinely curious how light it really is. You should be able to feel it though, but it will be superbly light. I like it like that. Most of my other triggers now feel hard in comparison.

I'll be interested to hear what the trigger weight measures at. I've reduced my first stage, but my 'wall' is 1.1kg, using my Amazon luggage scales. On my Kral Puncher K it is 400g. So this heavy trigger is definitely the source of my poor grouping, even after the spring mod.

I rigged up a trigger weight system with kitchen scales, a 3Kg weight and some string. Before the mod the reading was about 1.3 Kg pull needed to fire. After doing the spring mod and adjusting the trigger it's now about 400g, I can't get a precise reading but that's roughly what the average is after five goes. I increased the length of the first stage with the adjusting screw fully out and now it is incredible how much better it is, I really like it and I'm sure it will improve the accuracy. Only thing is I have to keep my finger well away from the trigger until it's properly aimed and I'm ready to fire - had a couple of early discharges as they say!!

Keep your booger hook off the bang switch until you’re ready to fire. Trigger discipline saves lives.

I measure trigger weight by fitting a wire hook over the trigger then a length of string to a plastic milk bottle. Hold the gun vertically and gently pour water into the bottle. When the trigger releases just weigh the hook, string and bottle and you've got a precise pull weight. Do it several times and take an average if you want but I usually see only a 20g variation. Just go slow adding the water.

Love your dog, I have a Brittany Spaniel - mad as a box of frogs.
