Revolver display boxes

i have just finished a couple more display cases for a few of my revolvers
to hang on the wall in my little display room .... these were few of the revolvers

I really ought to do this for the Taurus that's in my avatar, but I have the practical skills of a slug.
 
I was given some wall cabinets by a customer who got rid of his matchbox car collection. They had glass shelves inside and a hardboard back. I changed the back to plywood, lined the inside and set about securing the pistols. I have another to do for my 1911 collection.

Very nice - what is that you’ve used as the mounting supports?
 
I bought the first lot of polycarbonate rods (10mm) from ebay and the second lot from Amazon. I cut the first lot (1.5")in length with a dremel but they wern't straight cuts. So for the recent cabinets I used a small electric tile cutter and this produced clean straight cuts. Drilling a hole in one end for a screw.

Get those two lovely Smith & Wessons in the same frame and those other things in the other frame, if you must display them. :)
