Hi everyone, this got me wondering 🤔 what is your favourite co2 replica hand gun/pistol and why?
Me at the moment I only have the umarex Glok 17 gen4 so I can't really comment as I only have the one (at the moment 😉) but want to get the luger po8 and a 1911 eventually.
Pics are more than welcome 😁

As you can see I like revolvers...the Webley Mk1 was a nostalgia buy as I had one as a kid

I'm still undecided on my first replica and love the look of the 1911 but also fancy a pit viper. Can you recommend the latter ?

My Pit Viper is a 6mm AS which I use for my sidearm in Air Action. I haven’t shot a 4.5mm version but I’d presume it’s just as good.

Two days ago, I picked up a SIG P226. However, the barrel was extremely wobbly, the accuracy was poor, and it was consistently shooting low. After a quick online search, I found a fix, but it required opening up the gun and disassembling most of the internal components.

I was hesitant at first, but each disappointing shot from such a well-crafted Japanese replica pushed me closer to giving it a try.

Eventually, the toolkit came out, and I got to work. About 30 minutes later, after reassembling everything, the improvement was remarkable. It now shoots beautifully, enough to put a big smile on my face each time I pull the trigger and I can already tell it’s going to be one of my favorites.

For reference, the gun shoots around 350 FPS and has a fantastic blowback action.

This one definitely ticks all the boxes for a replica gun enthusiast! 😄

I rate my S&W M29 high for both authenticity and accuracy but low on the historical level. For replica authenticity I like my Webley MK VI. I used to use my Colt SAA as a prop when I used to give informal lectures on the history of the real old west so rate that quite highly. I'm less fond of semi auto's but the Beretta FS92 is quite accurate to shoot and the Sig P226 has blowback making it feel realistic anf fun. With regard to elegant design the Colt 1911 scores highly. As you see I have quite a collection but to pick one out as overall favourite would be very difficult. I would really like an 1851 Colt Navy if ever one is made as my studies suggested to me that this was more of "gun that won the west" than the SAA and I thing it is a very elegant looking. At some point I may purchase a S&W Schofield to add to my collection.

Smith & Wesson 78G. It is just so solidly made. Okay, so only single shot and no blowback, but it was made by S&W themselves, not under license in the far east. It's the one airgun out of my collection that they will have to pry from my cold, dead hands. And it is in the MAN'S CALIBRE!

A close second place goes to my Baikal Makarov, steel construction and shared origin with the real steel gun are big plus points.

I like lots of replicas for lots of different reasons but if I had to have a favourite, it would be the Baikal Makarov.

It's not so much a replica as a CO2 powered variant of the cartridge firing Makarov pistol. Built from firearms grade steel and sharing many components with the firearm cross all the right boxes for me.

Two for me. Not licensed replicas like many on this thread but very closely modelled on real firearms.

The first being the Crosman Mk1. A very accurate pistol modelled on the Ruger Mk1.

The second being the Crosman 38c. Again, an accurate pistol with a solid construction. I believe this was modelled on the Smith & Wesson model 15.
