LED lights are over-run in power. Most controlled by a basic chip that can be doubled or trebled depending on size of LED array. And the manufacturers push their luck. Eventually one LED goes. Because two are more share the same connection and thus the current, the remaining one(s) get far too much power and pop quickly. Despite claims, damp ingress is slow and certain. You can't fix them either unless you are pretty skilled, and even then it's dubious.
My fix, good so far, was to get a £ 2.00 normal bulb cover, glass with rubber seal - the glass is hinged and screwed down. Then I fitted a supposed Radar sensor bulb £1.50 from Ali - tho I've seen these recently in Lidl. I was dubious about the bulb, but it's worked perfectly for 2 years- if anything a touch over sensitive, but I don't care. Conventional motion sensors also seem highly problematical.
