Good evening.
Could someone recommend a mono pod or tripod please.
I have looked at monopod with three feet which fold out for stability, and looks more portable but would welcome your views.

Primos gen3 tripod sticks are the go to right now. Bog Death Grip if you want to make scaffolders jealous.
No idea for monopods

There is monopods for walking and shooting https://www.nitehawkproducts.co.uk/99619-nitehawk-shooting-monopod.html but I guess its not that you are looking for .

Thanks, yes I am after something that I can use to help support the rifle whilst taking a shot, that is stable.
I should imagine useful for zeroing too.

I shoot off a redsnapper tripod with a 322 arca head I had left over from photography but you can get it with a ball head here 🤷‍♂️

My girls shoot off a bench with this one:

I had a monopod with the 3 fold out feet, not stable at all. I took the top part off and put it on an old camera tripod and converted it to a tripod.

I tried a mono pod but it seemed to just turn 'all round' motion into an arc, not much use to be honest.
I did have some success when hunting using the monopod to hold the gun to a tree but not much better than just using a hand to the tree to steady.
Trigger sticks are worth having, light enough to carry and quick to deploy, pretty stable.

For zeroing and static I do use a tripod now.

Thanks for all your helpful comments, much appreciated and options to consider from people who know what works.
Thanks again.

Hello, I bought some sticks for £40, There ok but if you want better Pellpax on here were doing a special offer on some Primos Vital Trigger sticks, 29% off making them £100, If the yoke unscrews you could add a ball joint

If you're shooting from a static position you'd be better off with a camera tripod. Trigger sticks are more convenient for moving around but aren't as stable

I like the vanguard quest ,it can be used as a bipod or tripod or monopod , had mine about 3 or 4 years now and it still functions properly even if a bit battered now .
