Recommend air rifle

How about a AA S510 Superlite, multi shot, side leaver and fairly light as well.
Only use a bid scope if you are doing bench rest.

You could get a used HW100K with scope and a tank for that sort of money. People claim the HW100K is heavy, but it’s not.

Unless you like tinkering with guns I’d avoid the AP900 and similar Chinese stuff.

We’re all different, but I consider a 3kg gun reasonably lightweight, some of these plastic tactical things at under 2kg are too light in my opinion, probably only any good strapped to a tripod. I appreciate you’ve had a serious injury, but some weight is of benefit in a gun for stability, and unless the thing is a total boat anchor, I think balance is as important as weight.
 
Biggest factor is your budget mate, what are you looking to spend?
Then what is it for, pest control or target, this then brings weight and shot count into the equation.
 
I have just gone down the PCP route and for pest control / target shooting it is accurate and quick reload . I bought the rifle ( Gamo GX40 ) new and then added a preferred moderator and sight. My local RFD had a just out of test 10 ltr cylinder which I bought for ease and got it tested and filled. All good to go now for approx £530 .....The Gamo was £299 which wasn't a bad deal. You can get bundles but I preferred the option of my choice of Mod and Scope.
