RAW TM1000

I'm just back from the club. Put my TM over the Chrono more to check power but also shot count. However I was using an original Fxchrono and had it sat on the bench instead of fixed to the rifle. It missed 37 shots and often returned odd readings with no affect on poi.
I do not have confidence that the Chrono was reading correctly. I'd share the results but not worth it.
Did some pellet testing and wanted to see how it would perform if I just kept shooting without pulling through. In total, over 300 shots

Don't worry too much, as long as it’s accurate, I’ve not heard of one with a bad barrel, only excellent! Any other issues are easily sorted, it’s a very well engineered gun and relatively straightforward to work on.

The one I shot last week was unbelievable, initially thought the pellets were getting stuck in the barrel the group was that tight.

Hope mine has similar accuracy.

I know where to bring it if I have any issues.

They're great guns, based on the Rapid which was years ahead of its time and it now has many upgrades.
 
I chatted to kev and he does a double tap hammer for the new TM1000 but it’s a cross over part so ideally best for him to have rifle,he said don’t bother with a huma reg as it’s a flawed design and he recommends sticking with delrin valve…

I’m still tempted to try my huma tho☺️
 
A pal at my club got one at the gun show at the NEC. We shoot 10m benchrest and before the TM he was averaging 203-204 with his AA 510. He’s now scoring low teens and can’t believe it when he doesn’t get a +1. We all had a go and we’re hitting dead centre after dead centre. Afraid my 9015 will have to go and I’ll join the queue for a RAW. What a rifle 😊

Kev knows about regs! From what I understand from one of his Facebook posts he’s not working on guns at the moment.
 
What shot count are you guys getting??

Second outing with it yesterday bit more pellet testing, but I noticed I'm not getting a great shout count. The specs I read were for the 480cc bottle but can't see anything for the cylinder version so don't have a comparison. Probably getting about 120 shots.

Yeah, I fill to 205 bar which settles to 200 when cooled.
Im shooting JSB's which will be a little more efficient than your H&N's

Cool, yeah think I have settled on jsb seems to like them, will do the shot string with them. (y)
 
An interesting morning at the range pellet testing.

Very close between JSB Diablo, AADF and FX Diablo 8.44, hardly surprising considering they are the same pellet.

So the 2 top pellets JSB Shorts, surprise surprise, or the QYS Streamlined 8.64

I then shot a few cards

FX Diablo - 244 X5
QYS Streamlined - 245 x8
JSB Shorts - 246 x9

All with the shroud fitted, need to do some more testing with the air stripper fitted.
 
Bit more testing on Thursday, starting to come together, first row was qys dome the rest was jsb exact 4.51, pretty happy but have ordered some exacts in 4.52 and .53 as well as shorts to see if their is a difference. The .51 is pretty loose in the barrel so wonder if the bigger may be better also the 2 bottom corners were messing with the air stripper, left was out all the way right was in all the way.

How often are you guys cleaning your barrels? I know I was chopping and changing pellets but mine was filthy after about 150 shots
