Rapid sling ideas

Hi all

Looking to fit a sling to my Rapid. Currently there is only 1 sling swivel on the stock towards the bottle end.

I've seen bottle bands but not sure I fancy that idea.

So in general what do you have as a setup on yours.

I take it you also have a sling swivel to the rear of the stock?

Yes I do - all of my rapids are the same setup

It seemed like the easiest setup, was just wondering if there were other options.

I'll have a look at doctor Bobs bottle clamps

Avoid putting the sling on the barrel
The bottle clamp will also allow a Harris bipod to be fitted

Yes I remember seeing them a while back when originally on my lookout.

Been too busy knocking rabbits and rats over with mine to be fair. Last time out though it was hard going carrying the rabbits and the rifle

Exactly. Not too bad if you only have 1 or 2 to carry

Got a new permission on a golf course and we had 7 within half an hour on just the first hole.
