They do long and short. With or without ball end. I have a long with ball, which I never use, and a short square? end which I use a lot.Only one end usually is ball end

Its not the end of the world. You just get less surface to surface and its easier to round out .Damm I just orderd sum bondhaus ones but they are ball end
Ball end are fine, they are not meant for the initial undo or do up but for spinning in and out once loose, you don’t have to be square on to the screw either, much faster to use, in my opinion anywayOnly one end usually is ball end
+1 for wera get a set of the ball ended and a set of the T handles if money allowsI use Wera, generally good quality and doesn't break the bank.
Two sets are always good - a set of normal 'L' shaped ones for general use and a set of 'T' handled ones which are great for longer reach while maintaining decent torque.
I have a metric and imperial set of the fold up snapon hex keys and a set of torx I have had for 40 years, still going strong.Hi
Interesting that no one seems to have mentioned Snapon?
I have a set from many years back and still going, with lifetime warranty.........
