For any who don’t know there is an arms fair in at the Bolton Mercure 9am - 2pm on Sunday the 26th July.

Location: Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel, A6 Chorley Road, Blackrod, Bolton, BL6 5RU

It isn’t a huge event and has more swords / disarmed weapons than anything but there is usually 2-3 dedicated sellers of airguns.

TT

What you all hunting for?

There was quite a selection of 70s 80s 90s stock.

Very little modern stuff last time but there was a little there.

I’m always looking to add to the collection…. I think it’s about time I add a HW35… rude not to I think 🤔

Do you know if there will be anyone there selling old guns and bits and pieces?
I need a Hawkesley powder flask top.
I know the area and its not too far away.

Not heard of this one before - just looked it up , looks a great venue ! Normally shunt to Birmingham Arms Fair when I can , but will add this to the diary 🙂

I’ve never seen one of those before mate, but I also haven’t been looking for one.

There’s a huge collection of world war items, de-activated firearms, swords, armour, airguns and items like you are after yes.

It’s worth visiting, think entry is about £5… you park in the car park at the back and look for a fire exit which everyone wearing green waxed jackets are walking through hahaha it’s poorly signed to be fair…. If you get lost just ask reception they’ll point you in.

See you there mate!

It’s on a couple of times a year if memory serves.

It’s worth a gander I’d say

See you there bud.
