I have a SMK PP700, I bought it for a bit of fun and enjoy blasting cans with it in the back garden.

However this is fine if you stand and shoot constantly, if you ever put the pistol down the first couple of shots are very low and it's doing my head in. I've been lead to believe it's the regulator which is the factory one.

Is there a solution to this? I've seen huma sell replacements but they seem to go into the tube rather than replace the factory item.

With a pistol I worry about how much of the tube this will consume, it will be bound to impact shot count.

Thanks

Factory regs on these can be temperamental .

I have a green grip PP700w, the .177 version. I've had it a couple of years now from new and apart from using some of the seals in the supplied kit for a cylinder leak, it hasn't missed a beat. I have done the muzzle conversion to 1/2"unf thread for a moderator/silencer/suppressor fitment (works well with an HW mod) and have fitted a Hawke red dot. I think these pistols are good value for money.
