Polished my van top today

Not a euphamism!

There was a lot of UV damage to the top of my Transit, or possibly heat damage from the last two sweltering Summers.

It was ugly, so I got a rotary polisher from Halfords in the hope it would polish out.

It has taken all day and was a pig to access, but it's not too bad now.

Nice job Phil , my T5 has the same problem , the van is mint but the aftermarket paint on the aftermarket fibreglass bits is awful , when did you say you're coming to do it ? 😁

He did say he was coming to Norwich at some point , it would be a shame to come this far and leave his new polisher at home , I've got ladders and beer !

I used a cheap orbital polisher off eBay with 3 in 1 cutting compound to brighten up my old car's paintwork. Took hours but knowing you will only do it the once is a comfort..
