Hunting Pigeon decoying and the hw100s first outing

Lads were out over the back of me on the stubble with the SGs today and had a bag of over 300 which is some going for round here

I think alot of luck was involved to be honest, decoy placement around flight lines seems to be the biggest thing I've tried to decoy pigeons lots in the past and never been successful, think they were on a bit of a feeding frenzy with all the wheat around
 
I've always cut a hide into a track's bramble surround about 3 feet wide and 2 feet deep after a lot of flightpath survellance and fronted it with doubled over camo netting. I prefer the breeze into the front of the hide so they come in over the top of me and have the decoys set in a an upside down U pattern going away from me with the furthest around my zero distance of 35 yards, they tend to fly in and land towards the head of the pattern facing away from me. A good between the shoulders shot drops them on the spot and they usually just flop forward..👍
