I’ve been put off by multitudes of reviewers online and in forums, quoting that the bambu closed environment, it was a little while ago they unveiled a plan to limit which slicer could be used, which they backpedaled on as far as I understand.Interesting, what privacy concerns do you have as I own a bamboo printer
Even the guy in the posted YT vid mentioned it would never be allowed on his network without being locked down.
The background is that 3DPrinting has been a open sharing community with the RepRap movement starting a lot of what we have today.
I haven’t had time to watch this video yet, but looks like the license they claim to use (open-source) is the latest controversy
