Has anyone else got one of these units here?
I have just bought one to attach next to my hikmicro alpex when ratting, as I get annoyed with losing or not seeing the rats when switching from my hand held thermal spotter to the rifle scope. I think it will be useful during the colder months when looking up trees for grey squirrels too. I will give a report when I get chance to use it. It seems to be a decent bit of kit for the money.

I have been attaching this thing to my ratting rifles, and it seems OK, not tried it out yet, but it doesn't get in the way, and the weight is negligible.

I took the new thermal out to the ratting perm last night for the first time, and I am really impressed. Once I had turned the brightness down some more, the picture clarity is sharp and very well detailed. The quality is much better than the ATN spotter I have, and it is a third of the size. Because you don't need to put your eye right into the screen like a lot of thermal spotters, I was able to stand comfortably, and move the rifle around on its tripod to scan the area. This is a bonus for my back. I have one gripe with the unit, and I am hoping I can switch it off, the unit automatically goes into standby mode if it senses no movement, which is very annoying. I will look into it and hopefully I can switch it off.
Otherwise, I am really liking it.

I have just been looking through the advanced settings on the thermal, and found something interesting. When I get my mito back, I will have a go at fitting and zeroing on it, should be good for ratting.
